Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2013

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Transportation was Deputy Minister CAROL LAYTON, who brought home $244,365.58 in 2012.

Following CAROL LAYTON was Director, Safety Policy & Education Branch HEIDI FRANCIS, with annual earnings of $204,355.75. Assistant Deputy Minister, Policy & Planning Division JOHN LIEOU made $187,130.55, Assistant Deputy Minister, Road User Safety Division ROBERT FLEMING made $182,731.42, and Executive Director, Road User Safety Modernization PREDRAG MARIC round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $181,054.92 for the Transportation 2013 Sunshine List.
